Mayapur at World Travel Market 2013

World Travel Market (WTM) is a global travel event in the year held yearly at the Excel Centre in London. This year the event took place from the 4th to 7th November 2013. For 3 consecutive years Mayapur Worldwide, a voluntary charitable service promoting Mayapur in the UK/ Ireland has been invited by the WTM to promote Mayapur.
Sukanti Radha devi dasi, Director of the ISKCON Mayapur Worldwide services in UK/Ireland said it was an overwhelming experience having to talk to none devotees about the glories of Mayapur and inviting them to visit this glorious land. She said, she was quite surprised to have received a call from the WTM offering an opportunity in the Speed networking area having the opportunity to network with as many colleagues in the travel industry about bringing tourists to Mayapur. This is certainly mercy! We believe Mahaprabhu is obviously happy with something we are doing right at Mayapur Worldwide for this door to open.

She says she was happy to see so many people interested in knowing about Mayapur, seeing pictures and hearing about the glories of the holy land. Whoever I met around the world in 4 days, I took every opportunity to tell them about Mayapur.

More and more people are becoming serious about their travel journeys and are looking towards spiritual travel now more than ever before. The general feedback at the exhibition was people want meaningful tours that can be transformational. They want to feel and be different after a holiday.
Hence Spiritual tours are certainly the future!
Exhibitions like such also give ISKCON Mayapur â€“ the headquarters of ISKCON a great opportunity to network globally in just 4 days and make a physical presence that even in the travel industry that ISKCON has a role to play.
Sukanti Radha devi dasi says, Mayapur Worldwide has always kept a good relationship with WTM over the years and learnt a lot from their courses on responsible tourism and travel networking.
HG Praghosa das â€“ one of the directors of ISKCON Mayapur has always supported the Mayapur Worldwide services and encouraged us to maintain a healthy relationship with WTM as he was aware how important this service is for ISKCON Mayapur as a director. Every year we get invited by WTM to promote Mayapur globally. This is our humble service yet great honour for Mayapur Worldwide to serve Mayapur in this capacity.

Now that ISKCON is becoming more and more professional and growing in so many dimensions, this too is an area we at Mayapur Worldwide take seriously when organising our tours so as to keeping with the vast changing of ISKCON. Travel preaching can be very exhilarating. We at Mayapur Worldwide have learnt a lot about it from observing HH Jayapataka Swami travel and preach in the world and we have personally experienced this nectar. Hence we love what we do for Srila Prabhupadaâ€™s ISKCON. We are most grateful through Krsnaâ€™s arrangement that we were given this opportunity to offer this service in the holy month of Damodar!
