Historic celebrations in ISKCON Scotland

Dear Devotees,

Hare Krishna.

This year is very special in the history of the Hare Krishna movement in Scotland. Firstly, we are commemorating the 40th anniversary of Srila Prabhupada’s one and only visit to Scotland. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the Karuna Bhavan project.

Moreover, for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada, ISKCON Scotland has been working over the last few years on a project called ‘Krishna Eco Farm’. The farming area has been developed and expanded. Eco-friendly, sustainable technologies have been installed, as well as this, new facilities have been built to better accommodate guests, congregation and the local community. This year marks the completion of phase 1 of this project with the official opening of Krishna Eco Farm.

In order to celebrate these historical occasions one day is not enough. We would like to warmly invite you personally along with your family and friends to the ‘KARUNA BHAVAN MAHA FESTIVAL’ on 23rd – 24th June. Festivities will continue from morning till late over both days.
