As a follow up to chanting processions in the centre of St Albans Sukadev das, Ananta Purushottama das and Atmeshwar das have been organising ‘Krishna Conscious’ get-togethers in the town. “There’s devotional music, an interactive class and a vegetarian meal. The whole thing is informal and friendly,†explained Ananta Purushottama das. “Last January we had a turn out of 14 people and that was encouraging for us. We hope for similar turn-outs in the future. After the last meeting we fed members of the Quaker group who were meeting in the room next door. It was a pleasure to make such connections.â€
The meetings are located at the Friends Meeting House on 7 Upper Lattimore Rd, St Albans AL1 3UD, from 7pm- 9.30pm on the first Friday of every month. Contact Ananta Purushottama for more details: ananta@krishnatemple.com
