We are looking to employ a full time kitchen/wedding cook.
Job Description: Cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cater for weddings and private functions, school programmes, VIP catering, sponsor dinners, deity worship (aratis) and harinam. Volunteer and staff management. Managing and maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Initiated Brahmin
Chanting sixteen rounds
Following the 4 regulative principles
Attending full morning programme (rising early, mantra meditation, deity greeting, class etc)
The candidate must be experienced in cooking big quantities (250+).
Should have knowledge of Indian spicing
He/she must have cooked in ISKCON kitchens for at least 4 to 5 years.
Should be able to work under pressure
UK Driving licence advantage
Punctual
Working hours –30 hours per week (this includes cooking for the temple devotees and the weddings)
