The temple is holding its annual Family Fun Open Day on Saturday, 30 July from 11am – 4pm. We are expecting around 500 visitors who are mostly newcomers. And we need your help in giving them Krishna and a wonderful family day out. We need help in the following areas:
1) Food tent – helping in selling and serving the prasadam
2) Kitchen Assistant – of course with out this, then there’s no prasadam to distribute. We would need help in chopping, peeling, frying, cooking, and everything else that happens in the kitchen.
3) ‘Try on a Sari’ tent – you will be helping the guests put on a sari. We will teach you how to do this.
4) Bouncy Castle – manning the area/entrance, taking money and giving the wrist bands. We require the parents to look after their children at all times, so you don’t have to worry about that
5) Face Painting
6) Glitter Tattoo – We will teach you how to do this. It’s quite simple!
7) Mehndi Artist
Your assistance will be very much appreciated. If you would like more information regarding the Open Day itself, please visit www.krishnatemple.com And if you want to offer your service, please get in touch with me on 07912533397 or reply to this email and let me know what are the times you are able to help.
We also require saris for the ‘Try on a Sari’ tent. Pleas get in touch with me if you have some to give (please don’t leave it at reception).
Thank you.
Your servant,
Nila Madhava dasi
