Food For All wins an Award

Parasurama dasa: Food For All won the â€˜Recycling Project of the Year Award 2008â€². It was a nationwide award with hundreds of organizations involved. The award ceremony happened at the Juryâ€™s Hotel on great Russels street, which is next to Bury place the sight of the first Radha Krishna Temple. Television and newspapers were involved. We received Â£5,000, but more importantly, this award will open doors for us to develop the project. Last week we were runners up for the â€˜Community Cycling Awardâ€™ because of our use of rickshaws.
