Job Title: Pujari Assistant Number of hours: 42h/week Salary: We will provide a stipend and cover living, accommodation, food and travel expenses. Location: ISKCON Karuna Bhavan Temple, Bankhouse Road, Lesmahagow, ML11 0ES Job description: Main duties will include cooking, dressing the deities, performing aratis and puja, assisting head pujari. Experience necessary: 2+ years experience as pujari or assistant, 3+ experience in cooking, practising devotee for 5+ years, mature understanding of teachings of ISKCON founder A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Qualifications / Skills required: Chanting 16 rounds of Hare Krishna Mantra, followed for regulative principles - no intoxication, no gambling, no meat, fish or eggs, celibacy, brahminical (2nd) initiation, cleanliness, punctuality, good team-work and organisational skills
