An exciting new free school development, the Krishna-Avanti Primary School, Leicester, will open in September 2011. With a two-form reception intake of 60 pupils, it will grow year on year to eventually provide 420 places to meet the needs of Leicester’s Hindu community. The school is committed to its six ideals of academic achievement, character formation, healthy mind and body, wholesome sense of identity, social and community cohesion and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n
Building on the success of its sister school, which opened in Harrow in 2008, Krishna-Avanti Primary School, Leicester, seeks a Qualified Classroom Teacher who:<\/p>\n
* Can work with the sponsors to deliver the vision and ethos of the school
\n* Is an inspirational classroom practitioner
\n* Has high expectations of both pupils and themselves
\n* Is committed to high standards of achievement and excellence and enjoyment within the curriculum
\n* Can demonstrate levels of school management exposure \/ experience<\/p>\n
Experience and \/ or interest with SENCO is desirable but not essential.<\/p>\n
