In the run up to the event over 1800 Bhagavad Gitas were sponsored by individuals and businesses for distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Several hundred people braved icy and dangerous driving conditions to participate in this year&#8217;s celebration at Bhaktivedanta Manor. The recitation was led by Kripamoya das with chapter summaries provided by guest speaker Gauranga das.<\/p>\n<p>Over a period of 6 hours, with two short breaks, the entire Bhagavad Gita was recited.
